Celebrities in nappies!

Celebrities in nappies!

Everyone is having them. Babies, I mean. And they do not make news, unless, of course you're having quadruplets, or if a celebrity is having them.

We take a look some celebrity babies.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Imagine your dad and mom are the sexiest people on earth! Of course, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt may not be aware of the fact just yet.

The couples' 'first' child was born in Namibia on May 27 last year, adding to the couple's adopted brood including Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1.

'Brad was with Angelina in the operating room the entire time and cut the umbilical cord,' People magazine quoted the doctor as saying.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin

Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin were blessed with their second child, Moses Martin, on April 8 last year. The couple already have a daughter, Apple, born on May 14, 2004.

Moses was named after a song Martin wrote for his wife in 2003.

But it was their firstborn who made headlines over the fuss over her name -- Apple Blythe Alison Martin. The actress in her appearance in The Oprah Winfrey Show was quoted as saying that she couldn't understand why people were making such a fuss over the baby's name.

She said her husband suggested the name, which 'conjured such a lovely picture for me -- you know, apples are so sweet and they're wholesome and it's biblical -- and I just thought it sounded so lovely and... clean,' Paltrow told Winfrey.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

This couple made headlines wherever they went. From their much publicised romance to the much hyped wedding on November 18 last year, everything they did was reported faithfully by the press.

And the birth of their daughter on April 18 last year was no different.

Suri was born in an LA hospital, the same place where Brooke Shields gave birth to her daughter, Grier.

This is the first baby for Katie and the third for Tom. He has two children from his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman -- Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, whom the couple adopted as infants.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie

Okay, so popstar Madonna and filmmaker Guy Ritchi may not be one-year-old David's biological parents. But that does not mean they love him any less.

Madonna adopted the boy in Malawi after visiting several orphanages.

The 48-year-old already has two children, five-year-old son Rocco and nine-year-old daughter Lourdes.

Geri Halliwell and Sacha Gervaise

Former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, better known as Ginger, became a mum of a baby girl on May 14 last year.

Geri's mother, Anna Maria was at her side the whole time though the father of the child, Sacha Gervaise, was not present.

The baby is the result of a six-week fling between the 33-year-old singer and the Hollywood screen producer.
